More Paper Cutouts

I'm yet to add the newer pieces to the site. I'm actually getting them matted but prior to that step, I'm completing several 15x11 inch paper cutouts.  In the meantime, I'm somewhat frantic in getting all of what I need in order to feel comfortable going into my next shows. Today, however, is the Hapeville Artwalk and Exhibition. I need to clean up this little mess I made and prepare for it.

Hapeville Black History Month Exhibition

Last night, The Atlanta Exhibition was concluded.  It was a very nice turnout, great ambience and conncting with artists and collectors. I was honored to be a part of it.  Looking ahead, I will be showing also this month at the Hapeville Black History Month exhibit at the Hapeville Depot Museum. Opening reception is on February 22nd, with live bands and interactive installations.  As for today, I'm back in the studio to complete a commissioned piece and continue progress on the paper cutouts I've planned out. Paper Cutouts

So I'm resorting to some previous techniques with paper cutouts, with a new and enhanced process that is aligned with the wood cutouts. While I've completed 3 so far, I only have one precise image.  I have to say, it's been very busy at times and other times, I have to stop everything to re-balance. The paper cutouts came during that period. Time is winding. The Atlanta Exhibition will display 3 of my wood works on February 15. Atlanta Show, Canvas Prints & Organization

The year is drawing to a close. 2019 has been, not as productive as I'd like, but productive nonetheless. Since my focus word for the coming year is organization,  I'm going to take these last weeks of the year to prepare and go into 2020 with a good start on it. I'm under no illusions about it. Anymore. 3 facts I'm clear on: It's a daily ritual that will demand my attention.  I have to do it, whether I want to or not.  Each day needs to have a plan.
