Prepping for Art Shows

Posted by Tosh Fomby on

It's been a very busy summer, as I prep to exhibit in art shows. Not many. 2 actually and really, the second one will take much preparation, which has been pushing me to get ready, get ready.

I've, lately, put more efforts into completing small originals and coasters. The end of the month will see me finishing a 40 x 40 inches, among other pieces. More framed prints on tile are coming. I hope they sell well, as I haven't sold one yet. It's new, so there's time yet. Speaking of which, it's about time to shop for more wood.

On another note, I'm nearly 4 months into adapting a vegan lifestyle. I can't express how much better I sleep. I did find myself dragging around noon and noticed the more raw, the better my energy. Truly, it may be juiced fruit or veggies that would give me the boost I needed to deter this lag I started feeling. So, once I return to work, I'll have to consider prep time for juicing in the mornings. Other than that, I'm good. I think it's the best decision I've ever made for my health.

The magazine? It's slow getting up and going. I've decided on publishing bi-annually. So, I've pushed the 1st edition back to November. That will give me focused time for my show before the year is out. I'm very excited about it, by the way.
