More Paper Cutouts

I'm yet to add the newer pieces to the site. I'm actually getting them matted but prior to that step, I'm completing several 15x11 inch paper cutouts.  In the meantime, I'm somewhat frantic in getting all of what I need in order to feel comfortable going into my next shows. Today, however, is the Hapeville Artwalk and Exhibition. I need to clean up this little mess I made and prepare for it.

Paper Cutouts

So I'm resorting to some previous techniques with paper cutouts, with a new and enhanced process that is aligned with the wood cutouts. While I've completed 3 so far, I only have one precise image.  I have to say, it's been very busy at times and other times, I have to stop everything to re-balance. The paper cutouts came during that period. Time is winding. The Atlanta Exhibition will display 3 of my wood works on February 15. Engraved Painting

This new rendition of The Cornerstone is not a departure from the sculpted layered wood works. It's an addition that will merge and come together cohesively once everything's in place. I'll deliberate and see how it proceeds on the next round.  On another note, I'm behind on producing the magazine and the...

Cards and Prints Available

It's been a somewhat busy day. I have new greeting cards and canvas prints coming in next week. which the prepping of them was the administrative part of my afternoon. The prints are small (11 x 14) and I like the images I chose, which are from original paintings I did so long ago. Something like 10 or more years. The original for the card was a mixed media piece of watercolor and graphite wash. The card itself, while inspirational from the outside, is blank inside, for the user to create their own message. I will be printing more cards...

Bluff Park Art Show

Good Friday, because all Fridays are, where I'm concerned. Time is definitely winding down to October 5th. In advertising for the Bluff Park Art Show, I noticed one of my pieces was featured.  Of late, I've been researching and looking at the business side of art, re-acquainting myself with specific artists by watching a lot of YouTube videos and learning, learning and learning some more.   I'm also nearing the video shoot for my work and it's turning out to be interesting, as things can go sometimes but I gotta keep on truckin'.
